However, one particular couple took their nuptials to a whole new level by choosing the enchanting backdrop of a traditional village for their whimsical wedding celebration. Anastasia and Mischa , a Greek bride with a Dutch groom, chose Portaria, a traditional village in the region in Pelion, in Greece.

The chosen village, nestled in the rolling hills of Greece, provided the perfect canvas for a fairytale wedding. Peppered with delightful hamlets, age-old trails, and whitewashed, half-timbered mansions the attractive east-coast shoreline of Pelion plunges into the Aegean, curving within the Gulf of Pagasitikos.

Anastasia and Mischa, have already a little baby girl, and the only thing they wanted for their wedding, is to gather together friends and family for a 2-day celebration.

Ceremony: The couple stood beneath the shade of the tree, surrounded by close friends and family, ready to embark on a journey of a lifetime. The tree, a symbol of rootedness and stability, served as a powerful metaphor for the foundation they were laying for their marriage. Theme: Anastasia is a free-spirited person, I would say she has a gypsy soul. And this was exactly the vibe we decided to have for the wedding, from the stationery to the flowers. I love the detail on the invitation with the rose gold foiled flower. The couple selected a venue that served as a blank canvas for their creative vision. A traditional, stoned square was the perfect backdrop for the explosion of colors that would characterize their wedding. Wooden tables, among round tables and trees, with colorful small vases full of flowers, colorful candles and hand painted table number on traditional terracotta plates. Each guest received an olive soap in the most vibrant packaging!

The dance floor became a lively space pulsating with energy and color.As the night progressed, guests joined the celebration, creating a dazzling spectacle of movement and color beneath the twinkling lights.
